There are few things you can do to increase page speed. You can install WP Super Cache an Autoptimize plugins to compress the page and create cache. Please check attached images to configure them right.
You can also use WP Smush plugin to reduce size of the images.
Please create a backup before running those plugins.
More advanced optimization will require server configuration changes: you can add gzip compression to your server and enabling keep-alive. It will require adding .htaccess file to your server:

If all of that won't help then probably your hosting is slow and changing it will be a good idea.
